Why Malta - Religion
The primary religion of Malta is Roman Catholicism, although there are countless smaller denominations represented as well. You will be able to find smaller Anglican, Church of Scotland, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Methodist and Muslim communities situated in different areas of the islands. Religious services are held at all hours on Sundays and it is possible to find churches conducting Saturday evening services. Weekday services are also available to those interested in attending them, both during morning and in the evenings. It is possible to find sacred services for Adventists, Baha'i, Bible Baptist, Buddhist, Greek Catholic, Christian Evangelical Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Evangelical Church of Germany, Greek Orthodox, Jehovah's witnesses, and many smaller sects also. (Note: it is important to remember the proper rules of etiquette when attending these services.)
