The water out of the tap is perfectly safe to drink no matter where you are on the Maltese Islands. Still, if you prefer, you can purchase local and imported bottled mineral water.
The electrical power supply is 230 volts +/- 10% with a 50-hertz frequency supply level. As in Britain, in Malta a three-pin rectangular plug system is common use. For those who do not have appliances and implements that work on this system, adapters are readily available.
